Where did Kush build cities?

Kush was an ancient African civilization that flourished in the region of Nubia, which is present-day Sudan. The Kushites built several cities along the Nile River, primarily in the northern part of Sudan. The most significant city of Kush was Napata, which later became the capital of the Kingdom of Kush. Other important cities include Meroƫ, Kerma, and Gebel Barkal.
