Summarize Genesis Chapelle one for kids

Genesis Chapter 1 tells the story of how God created the world. In the beginning, there was only darkness, but then God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. God separated the light from the darkness, calling the light "day" and the darkness "night."

God continued to create by separating the waters, creating a space called "sky." He then gathered the waters together, forming the seas, and created the land. God made plants and trees grow on the land, providing food and beauty.

Next, God created the sun to rule the day and the moon and stars to rule the night. He also created creatures to live in the water and birds to fly in the sky. God saw that it was good.

Finally, God created all kinds of animals to live on the land, including cattle, wild animals, and creatures that crawl on the ground. And, in His final act of creation, God created humans in His own image, both male and female.

God blessed the humans and told them to be fruitful, multiply, and take care of the earth. He gave them all the plants and trees for food. God saw everything He had made, and it was very good.

This chapter teaches us that God created the world and everything in it, including us. It shows His love for His creation and how He created a beautiful and balanced world for us to enjoy.
