Donna was born into a diverse family with Cham, Malaysian, and Vietnamese heritage, deeply rooted in the Islamic faith. As a committed Muslim, she has always been driven by a desire to gain a deeper understanding of her religious beliefs. This led Donna to actively seek Islamic knowledge, continuously expanding her understanding and connection to her faith.
During her time in university from 2017 to 2019, Donna served as the President of the Muslim Student Association (MSA). In 2021, Donna's passion for serving the Muslim community led her to become a board member of the Muslim American Youth, California Chapter.
