D e f i n e risk behaviors

Risk behaviors refer to actions or behaviors that may lead to negative consequences or jeopardize an individual's well-being, health, or safety. These behaviors typically involve engaging in activities that have the potential for harm or danger, such as substance abuse, reckless driving, unsafe sexual practices, self-harm, tobacco use, or gambling. Risk behaviors often disregard potential long-term consequences and occur either due to curiosity, peer pressure, thrill-seeking, or a lack of understanding regarding the potential risks involved. Consequently, they can increase the likelihood of accidents, injuries, negative health outcomes, and other adverse consequences.
