What is actinomorphic symmetry

Actinomorphic symmetry, also known as radial symmetry, is a type of symmetry in which an organism can be divided into multiple similar parts along multiple planes, resulting in a circular or radial arrangement. In actinomorphic symmetry, the organism's body plan can be divided into equal halves by more than two planes passing through a central axis. This type of symmetry is commonly found in many plants, fungi, and some groups of animals, such as jellyfish and starfish.
