For this evaluation, I have selected XYZ Corporation, a multinational technology company based in my local area.

1. Sources of Conflict in XYZ Corporation:

a. Interpersonal Conflicts: These conflicts arise due to differences in personalities, work styles, and communication styles among employees. For example, conflicts may occur between two team members who have contrasting approaches to problem-solving.

b. Role Ambiguity: When there is confusion or ambiguity regarding roles and responsibilities, conflicts can arise. This often occurs when there is a lack of clear direction from management, leading to overlapping or conflicting expectations.

c. Organizational Change: Conflict can arise during times of organizational change, such as mergers, acquisitions, or restructurings. Employees may resist change due to fear of job loss, changes to work processes, or loss of control.

d. Resource Allocation: Conflicts can arise when there is competition for limited resources within the organization. This can lead to tensions and disagreements over the distribution of budgets, staffing, and project resources.
