Happiness is a state of mind
It’s what we all want
But some will never find.

It’s dancing in the rain
and people we love
Looking out a plane
and having lots of fun.

It’s late nights talking
and sappy movies watching
Fingers interlocking
and hearts a pumping.

It’s walks on the beach
that tight embrace
A summer sweet peach
and an old back porch.

It’s sitting beside the fire
and laughing with friends
aiming to inspire
and living every day.

Happiness is a state of mind.
It’s what we all want
But some will never find.
