7. Provide and explain three commonalities of Judaism and Christianity. (3 points)

1) Both Judaism and Christianity are monotheistic religions that believe in the existence of one God. In both religions, God is seen as all-powerful, all-knowing, and the creator of the universe.

2) Both religions share a belief in a divine covenant between God and humanity. In Judaism, this covenant is expressed through the Torah and the laws and commandments given to the Hebrew people by God. In Christianity, the covenant is fulfilled through Jesus Christ, who is seen as the Messiah and the embodiment of God's salvation for humanity.

3) Judaism and Christianity share a common lineage and connection through the Hebrew Bible (or Old Testament in Christianity). Many of the stories, figures, and moral teachings found in the Hebrew Bible are recognized and revered in both religions. Examples include the creation account, the stories of Adam and Eve, Noah and the flood, Abraham and his descendants, and the Ten Commandments.
