Magnetic poles refer to the two opposite ends of a magnet where its magnetic field is most concentrated. There are two types of magnetic poles: the North Pole and the South Pole. The North Pole of a magnet attracts the South Pole of another magnet, while two North Poles or two South Poles repel each other.
