How to make grilled turkey burger

To make a grilled turkey burger, follow these steps:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 pound of ground turkey, 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup of finely chopped onion, 1 clove of minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon of dried parsley, 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a burger patty. Make sure the patties are slightly wider and flatter than the burger buns to account for shrinkage during cooking.

3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Make sure the grill grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

4. Place the turkey patties on the grill and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Avoid pressing down on the patties to retain their juiciness.

5. While the patties are cooking, you can lightly toast the burger buns on the grill if desired.

6. Once the patties are cooked through, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes.

7. Assemble the burgers by placing the turkey patties on the bottom half of the bun, and add your desired toppings such as lettuce, tomato, onion, and condiments like mayo, ketchup, or mustard.

8. Place the top half of the bun on the burger to complete it.

9. Serve the grilled turkey burgers immediately and enjoy!

Note: You can also customize the flavor of your turkey burgers by adding ingredients like grated cheese, chopped herbs, or spices to the patty mixture before grilling.
