In order to compare and contrast print and audio/video versions of a text, one strategy that I used as
a reader is to first read the print version of the text. This allows me to engage with the written words, visualize the characters and settings, and immerse myself in the story. After reading the print version, I then listen or watch the audio/video version of the same text. This allows me to experience the text in a different format and engage with it in a new way.
By using this strategy, I am able to compare and contrast the print and audio/video versions based on several factors. Firstly, I can compare the interpretations of the characters and their voices. In the print version, I may have imagined the characters differently than how they are portrayed in the audio/video version. This gives me the opportunity to evaluate which version aligns more with my initial perception of the characters.

In the print version, I rely solely on my imagination to create the visuals and sound effects. However, in the audio/video version, these elements are provided for me. I can analyze how these visuals and sound enhance or detract from my understanding and overall enjoyment of the text.

In the print version, I control the pace at which I read, allowing me to linger on certain passages or skim through others. In the audio/video version, the pacing is predetermined, and I can evaluate if it aligns with my preferred reading style.
Lastly, I can also consider the accessibility and convenience of each format. Print versions require physical access to a book or document, while audio/video versions can be accessed through various devices anytime and anywhere. This allows me to assess which format is more suitable for my personal needs and preferences.
By using this strategy of first reading the print version and then experiencing the audio/video version, I am able to compare and contrast these different formats effectively.
