What did Darwin mean the the "Fit”?

Survived long enough to reproduce
Strongest in the group
fastest in the group

When Darwin referred to the "Fit," he meant individuals who have certain characteristics or traits that enable them to survive and reproduce successfully in their respective environments. It does not necessarily mean being the strongest or fastest in a group. Instead, it refers to individuals who possess advantageous traits that make them better suited to their specific environment, increasing their chances of survival and reproductive success. This concept is related to natural selection, where individuals with favorable traits are more likely to pass on their genes to the next generation.
