A photography club would like to raise money for a local health organization by selling popcorn. The club predicts they need to sell 250 bags of popcorn to reach their goal. At the end of the fundraiser, they sold 266 bags of popcorn and met their goal. What is the percent error? Round the answer to the nearest whole number.

To find the percent error, we'll use the formula:

Percent Error = (|Predicted Value - Actual Value| / Actual Value) * 100

In this case, the predicted value is 250 and the actual value is 266.

Percent Error = (|250 - 266| / 266) * 100
Percent Error = (|-16| / 266) * 100
Percent Error = (16 / 266) * 100
Percent Error ≈ 6.02 (rounded to the nearest whole number)

Therefore, the percent error is approximately 6%.
