Pictures of planet orbiting sun

Due to the vast distances between planets and their respective positions in their orbits, it is challenging to capture real-time photographs of planets orbiting the sun from a distance. However, various spacecraft have snapped stunning pictures of planetary orbits and their respective planets. Here are a few examples:

1. NASA's Voyager 1: This spacecraft captured an iconic photo called "Family Portrait" in 1990. In that image, Earth appears as a pale blue dot located within a brown sunbeam.

2. NASA's Juno spacecraft: While orbiting Jupiter, Juno captured splendid images of the gas giant and its orbital motion. These images often highlight the planet's iconic bands and swirling storms.

3. Hubble Space Telescope: Over the years, the Hubble Space Telescope has captured several images of planets in our solar system, including the iconic photo of Mars taken during its closest approach to Earth in 2003.

4. NASA's Cassini spacecraft: During its mission at Saturn, the Cassini spacecraft photographed the planet and its orbiting moons, providing insights into the dynamics of the Saturnian system.

5. New Horizons spacecraft: As it flew past Pluto in 2015, the New Horizons spacecraft captured images of Pluto in its orbit around the sun.

Please note that these images depict planets within their respective orbits, but they do not show the full orbit itself.
