Solution:
√(25) + √(9) - √(4) × √(16) ÷ √(81)
= 5 + 3 - 2 × 4 ÷ 9
= 5 + 3 - 8/9
= 8 - 8/9
= 72/9 - 8/9
= 64/9
= 7 1/9
Problem 2:
Solve the expression:
√(16) × (√(25) + √(9)) - √(81) ÷ √(4)
Solution:
√(16) × (√(25) + √(9)) - √(81) ÷ √(4)
= 4 × (5 + 3) - 9 ÷ 2
= 4 × 8 - 9 ÷ 2
= 32 - 9 ÷ 2
= 32 - 4.5
= 27.5
