The Ming Dynasty made a lot of connections with other countries. They did lots of trade with countries like Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asian countries. They also sent out explorers like Zheng He to make friends with other countries and bring back new things. We know this because there are records and paintings from that time that show these connections.
