Is h2- stable; is it diamagnetic or paramagnetic?

H2 is a stable molecule. It is a diatomic molecule consisting of two hydrogen atoms. As both hydrogen atoms have one electron each, they share these electrons to form a covalent bond and stabilize the molecule.

Regarding its magnetic properties, H2 is diamagnetic. Diamagnetic substances have no unpaired electrons and are slightly repelled by a magnetic field. In H2, the two electrons are paired, resulting in a net magnetic moment of zero.
