The information in the genetics unit I best understood was the concept of dominant and recessive traits because the examples and Punnett squares made it easier for me to visualize how traits are passed down from parents to offspring. The most challenging for me to understand was the concept of gene expression because the regulation and activation of genes seemed complex and required further research to comprehend fully.
A strategy I could use to determine the factors that influence plant growth is conducting experiments where I vary one factor at a time, such as light intensity or water amount, and observe the effects on plant growth. By controlling other variables and keeping them constant, I can isolate and identify the specific factors that have the most significant impact on plant growth.
