Due to its unusual warped gravity, impossible structures can be formed within the Infinity Castle. During Akaza's path to the Upper Rank meeting, he fell hundreds of stories past the warped corridors and halls and flew past a large and ornate water garden palace, only to "fall" further past, reaching what seemed to be the bottom and landing onto the floor. This was then revealed to be a wall that was formed in the direction of the shifting columns below him and he was then taken high above the columns and past the ceiling through opening doors, coming across a large maze-like area filled with towering pillars.

Unusual gravity warps in the Infinity Castle allow for the creation of impossible structures. Akaza took a path to the Upper Rank meeting and plummeted hundreds of stories through distorted corridors and halls, passing a grand palace with a magnificent water garden. He continued to "fall" until he reached what appeared to be the bottom of the castle, only to discover it was a wall formed by shifting columns. He was then lifted high above the columns and passed through opening doors, eventually arriving in a vast maze-like area with towering pillars.

During the second clash of the Demon Slayers against Muzan, Nakime was controlled by Yushiro in order to prevent him from seeing Mitsuri and Obanai, having used a talisman of his Blood Demon Art to trick Muzan seeing through Nakime's eye. Worried that Yushiro would take control of her and use the Infinity Castle to their advantage, Muzan activated the curse on Nakime by killing her through telekinesis, and subsequently caused the Infinity Castle to grow unstable. Prior to the Castle's collapse, Yushiro harnessed Nakime's cells just before their disintegration to transport Muzan and the Demon Slayers outside. He caused the entire structure to ascend, breaking through the ground and emerging onto a city street surface

In the second encounter between the Demon Slayers and Muzan, Yushiro took control of Nakime to prevent her from revealing Mitsuri and Obanai's location. Yushiro employed a Blood Demon Art talisman to deceive Muzan into thinking he was perceiving through Nakime's eyes. Muzan feared Yushiro's intentions to use the Infinity Castle in their battle and invoked a curse on Nakime by killing her through telekinesis, resulting in the Castle's instability. Just before its collapse, Yushiro used Nakime's cells to transport Muzan and the Demon Slayers out of the Castle. As the structure emerged onto a city street surface, Yushiro elevated it by breaking through the ground.

Due to Muzan's favoritism towards them, only the Upper Ranks of the Twelve Kizuki are aware of the castle's existence and have been regularly called to and summoned by Muzan himself to the castle for meetings or new orders. The Lower Ranks in turn have been implied to never have been summoned or let alone know of the castle's existence due to Muzan's own dwindling favor towards them over the centuries due to their constant losses towards the Hashira. This was showcased with the Lower Ranks being completely out of their element during the meeting, whereas the Upper Ranks have dedicated areas of the dimension to themselves.

Muzan's favoritism towards the Upper Ranks of the Twelve Kizuki meant that only they knew about the existence of the castle and were frequently summoned by Muzan for meetings and orders. In contrast, the Lower Ranks appeared not to have any knowledge of the castle's existence because Muzan's favor with them had reduced over the centuries due to their inability to defeat the Hashira. As evidenced by their lack of familiarity with the surroundings during the meeting, Lower Ranks were completely out of place. Meanwhile, Upper Ranks had dedicated areas of the dimension reserved for themselves.

Doma is clinically apathetic, being completely incapable of feeling human emotion. Doma covers his emotionlessness with a carefree and friendly facade that was able to trick all but the most keen observers. Kanao is the only human that was able to discern his true disposition using her superhuman eyesight, and concluded that Doma merely acts like he shows emotions in hopes that one day he would actually be able to feel human emotions himself, a concept which he admitted seemed alien to him. Even when he was a child, Doma possessed little to no emotion, as shown when his mother ruthlessly killed his father and then proceeded to take her own life in front of Doma; he was neither shocked nor petrified, instead feeling annoyed that their blood made the room stuffy.
