Edge short Definition

(This is 10th grade math, please don't make it advanced)

In geometry, an edge refers to the boundary line segment where two faces of a solid shape meet. It can also be called a side or a line segment.

In mathematics, an edge is a term used in geometry to refer to a line segment that connects two vertices of a two-dimensional shape or two endpoints of a three-dimensional object. It is like a straight line that forms one of the sides of the shape or object. For example, in a triangle, each of the three sides is an edge, and in a cube, each of the twelve connecting lines between the vertices is an edge.
