If Mace Windu had agreed with Anakin Skywalker, they would have been able to arrest Supreme Chancellor Palpatine and bring him to justice for his crimes. However, this would have changed the course of history as Palpatine would not have been able to execute Order 66 and establish the Galactic Empire. Without the Empire, the Rebel Alliance may not have formed, and the events of the original trilogy would not have occurred. It is impossible to predict what would have happened if Mace Windu had agreed with Anakin as it would have altered the entire Star Wars timeline.
