11. (you can use this one but put your own events in) I am going to swim on my own today. My big sister is trailing behind me. I'm pretty confident, but a little scared. After I let go of my sisters shoulders, which I was clinging onto like a koala. I plunge into the water and immediately start swimming like my life depended on it.
(here like this)
I am going to______. My ______. I'm pretty ___, but a little ___. After I ______, which I was ______. I _______.

12.simple and complex because with simple she can tell him how to do it. and complex so she can give a better or a deeper explanation on how it should be done. and I think it's better with these two options because if her little brother is doing something for the first time then a explanation for him would be best so he could understand and do it right the first time.

13.using a different variety of sentences makes the story interesting. if authors made a 200-300 page book that is dry. readers would be catching zzz's. no one wants to read a story like: "he ate some food. the food was good. he ate some dessert. the dessert was good. he brought some shoes. the shoes where nice" see? sounds dry right? and besides we don't know who "he" is anyway, so how would we follow the story?

14. in sentence one marsha is saving each week, for one bike.

in sentence two she is buying a new bike each week, so she needs to save 10$
