Mary Slessor?

Mary Slessor (2 December 1848 – 13 January 1915) was a Scottish Presbyterian missionary who worked in Calabar, Nigeria. She is known for her work in promoting women's rights, advocating against the killing of twin infants, and her efforts to spread the Christian faith. She lived a simple life and became known as "the white queen of Okoyong," a region which she helped to stabilize and introduce Western education, healthcare, and other forms of social development. She is remembered for her humanitarian work and dedication to improving the lives of the people of Calabar.
