he homework club is a group of students that meets every day after school in the cafeteria. In order to pay for supervisors, snacks, and tutors, the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) raises money through bake sales, auctions, and car washes. Teachers are paid to supervise the club members for two hours each day. The members receive a snack. The members work on their school assignments. Everyone can receive help from a tutor. The daily club activities are listed below.

3:10–3:15 Roll call — The homework club supervisors call the students by name and check them off on the attendance sheet.
3:15–3:30 Snack Time — Students sit at the lunch tables and eat a healthy snack provided by the club sponsor.
3:30–3:40 Clean Up and Restroom Break — Students throw away their trash, wipe the tables with clean cloths, use the restroom as needed, and wash their hands.
3:40–5:00 Homework Time — Students quietly work on their assignments. Tutors are available to help students with any subject.
5:00–5:10 Pick Up — Students pack up their work and either walk home or wait for a caretaker to give them a ride home. Students may visit with each other during this time.
