Arbitration is a form of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in which two or more parties agree to submit their dispute to an impartial third party (the arbitrator) for a binding decision. The arbitrator hears both sides of the dispute and makes a decision based on the evidence presented. The decision of the arbitrator is legally binding and enforceable in court.
