What does it mean to say that a number is a perfect square? Give one example of a number that is a perfect square and one that is not. Explain your examples.

A perfect square is a number whose square root yields a rational number.

e.g 25, 1.44, 400

Which means a non-perfect square is a number that does not have a rational square root.
e.g √3 = 1.732..... , √101 = 10.0498.... , never ends, never repeats

e.g. non-perfect square: 3.12112111211112..... even though I am following a pattern, the decimal
can never repeat itself at some stage.
