To qualify for the Disc Golf Amateur World Championships, you must first qualify through a PDGA-sanctioned event. The PDGA (Professional Disc Golf Association) is the governing body for disc golf and sets the rules and regulations for all sanctioned events. To qualify for the Amateur World Championships, you must place in the top half of your division at a PDGA-sanctioned event. The Amateur World Championships are held annually and the location changes each year.
