Calcium carbonate, when used an antacid, neutralizes stomach acid, which is

hydrochloric acid. If the antacid tablet contains 750mg of calcium carbonate, how many
moles can be neutralized by taking two tablets?

grams CaCO3 = 2*750 mg each = 1500 mg = 1.500 grams.

mols CaCO3 = grams/molar mass = 1.500/100 = 0.015
CaCO3 + 2HCl ==> CaCl2 + H2O + CO2
So 0.015 mols CaCO3 will neutralize 2*0.015 mols HCl.
