value is like shading so shade the shape with lighter and then darker colors to the blank shape. also you're welcome

so if you have to draw, then practice value with grayscale it really helps. maybe take a photo of an apple or a fruit. so i would draw a piece of fruit in grayscale. dont know if this helps
maybe just look at the fruit and explain to your teacher why you cant take a picture
