You take 199.4 g of a solid at 25.3 °C and let it melt in 360.5 g water. The temperature of the water decreases from 85.9 °C to 30 °C. Calculate the specific heat of fusion of this solid in J/g. The specific heat capacity of water is 4.184 J/g.°C.

I don't believe there is enough information here. Don't you need the melting point of the solid as well as the specific heat of the liquid after it melts as it moves from its melting point to the final temperature of 30 C?

[g solid x heat fusion solid] +[g solid x specific heat the liquid x (Tfinal - Tinitial)] + [g water x specific heat H2O x (Tfinal - Tintial)] = 0
