Can some one check my answer

Find the volume y=x, y=x/3, x=6, about the line y=-1

V= ∫ [6,0] (x^2+1)^2 - (x/3+1)^2 dx= 88π

OK. It's time to start spelling "calculus" correctly.

Now, as for the integral, it should be
V= ∫ [6,0] π(R^2-r^2) dx
where R = x+1 and r = x/3 + 1
V= ∫ [6,0] π((x+1)^2 - (x/3+1)^2) dx = 88π

So your math is good, but your typing needs some improvement.
Also, you can always check your work at wolframalpha.com, but place the limits of integration in order [low,high]
