Hello! I am writing an essay on "A Christmas Carol: Scrooge and Marley" (This is the drama version of A Christmas Carol)

I am just wondering if there is a proper term for the sort of people shown to Scrooge by the Third Spirit. The people who stole items (such as his bed curtains) when he had passed. If not, it is no big deal, if there is and you know it, wonderful!

Thank you!

Maybe opportunists?

Thank you! I checked out the Wikipedia page and the thesaurus page. I suppose they are opportunists!

Yep!!

Hello! In the drama version of "A Christmas Carol," the people shown to Scrooge by the Third Spirit who stole items from him after his passing are commonly referred to as "looters" or "thieves." They represent the lengths to which people are willing to go to exploit others, even after their death.
