How did the decisions of leaders at the end of WWI cause the hostilities of WWII?

I have text, but I've look through it, and I can't seem to figure out how to answer the question.

The allies imposed a harsh peace on Germany. It suffered in the Great Depression, and allowed Hitler to come to power to get back some of their money and dignity.
