what is derivative of 4(x-3)^2 using CHAIN RULE please

Remember the chain rule is when you start at the OUTSIDE parts first then work your way to the inside : )

So... you need to work with the power of 2 and the 4 outside the brackets
4(2)
= 8(x -3)then take the derivative of the inside
(we know the derivative of x is 1)
= 8(x-3)(1)
= 8(x-3)
