If the Red Sox have 14 fans, the Pirates have 42 fans, and the Phillies have 25 fans, what is the probability that a randomly selected fan is not a Red Sox fan?

The total number of fans is 81, so I believe it would be 42 + 25 = 67/81 which is 82.7%.

However, the answer says it's 74%.

Could you please explain why?

Thank you.

Must be a mistake. Your work looks right to me.

Unless there is some fan overlap.
