Verbs
is "had seen" or "was biking", an example of a stative verb?
1 answer
Well, these are transitive verbs in the passive voice. I would say these are not stative, however, in that they portray a specific action, seeing or biking. A stative verb states something that is continuous, as in "I don't like mushrooms."
