What natural resources do different regions offer?

What region would benefit from job production?

What region has the workforce to support a new industry?

What location has access to transportation routes to move people and goods?

What skills do workers have—or would they need to learn?

What challenges do terrain and climate pose in certain locations?

Ye gads! What broad questions! Are these regions in the world? in a specific country? in a state?

What do your text materials say?

in Mexico

These sites will help with your first two questions.

thank you soooooooooooooooo much

Another resource:

Scroll down and click on each category, such as Geography, People and Society, etc.

thanks again!

You're welcome.

did the Wikipedia link answer a specific question?

my mom does not let me use Wikipedia she says it is un reliable and I have to show my references

Wikipedia is fine. If you don't want to rely on the article itself, make good use of all the external references at the bottom of each Wiki page.

um.... this website .cia.gov

says that it has changed the address.

Umm ... I just went into it before I posted it. I don't give links that don't work!

Try copying and pasting it this way then:

https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/mx.html

You can trust Wikipedia for facts such as these. People who criticize Wikipedia do so because occasionally an author writes from his/her own biased point of view. But it's very reliable on statistics such as these.

You can check it out by Googling Mexico unemployment states and see if another site has this information.

thanks Ms. Sue for the help and the links. I honestly didn't think that you were going to respond that fast all of the other teachers take forever on other websites and I end up doing it with out there help. Thanks again!

You are very welcome. I'm delighted that we've been so helpful to you.

And you are a very sweet person

I came up with this answer:

What natural resources do different regions offer?
oil, gas, coal, lignite, fluoride, graphite, silver, lead, zinc, etc.…

I am not asking you to tell me the answer if it is wrong, I am asking you to tell me what is wrong if it is.

Your answer is right. But I think you are also supposed to tell in which reasons these resources are found.

what reasons or which regions

my mom saw the references on the bottom of the Wikipedia link and said I could use it just this once, however I don't understand if the lower the number the less employees or the lower the number the less companies/stores needed for employment.

What region would benefit from job production?

Tabasco 6% of the population is unemployed

Sorry -- typo -- it's regions, not reasons.

The lowest number means the fewer people who are unemployed.

Thank You Ms. Sue the links really helped
