I am supposed to write a minimum of 20 lines typewritten in MLA format (12 point, Times New Roman or Arial font, double-spaced, with internal citations and a Works Cited).

So if you have 1" margins at the sides, top, and bottom and double space everything, 20 lines will probably be about one page IF you are to leave room at the top for the standard MLA heading.
