are these sentences images:
1. their bare boughs weighed with snow
2. the night is darkening round me

or hyperbole:
1. clouds beyond clouds above me
2. wastes beyond wastes below

    a bare bough weighed with snow is a tree limb so yes that is an image now the night is darkening round me is not an image neither is waste beyond waste but clouds above clouds is more of a metaphoric image meaning there are different cloud heights like stratosphereic clouds are higher than any of the other clouds
