If you are forming lithium bicarbonate, LiHCO3, one mole of CO2 will combine with one mole of LiOH.
One mole of LiOH has a mass of 24 g, so 36g is 2/3 mole.
2/3 mole of CO2 has a mass of 44/3 = 14.7 g
