Homework Help: math

If a bag of chips has a serving size of 1 oz.(28g/about 32 chips), and serving per container is 7. So if the bag of chips costs 0.99, approximately how much does one serving of chips cost? Would I start out by 99/7? help!

Yes. Divide 0.99 by 7 to find the cost of one serving.

My answer comes out to 0.141428571 and so on....what exactly is my answer do I need to round off or anything?

Round it off to $0.14.

Remember this is money -- so the cost of one serving is about 14 cents.
