g(-1+h) = (-1+h)^2 - 7(-1+h) + 5
= 1 - 2h + h^2 + 7 - 7h + 5
= h^2 - 9h + 13
g(-1) = 1 + 7 + 5 = 13
( g(-1+h) - g(-1) )/h = (h^2 - 9h + 13 - 13)/h
= h - 9
