**Ms. Sue**, Sunday, December 5, 2010 at 8:11pmPlease proofread your post. It doesn't make any sense that way it is.

When Julie and Anne scored 10 and 20 each, their scores, along with Sara's can't average to 72.

**Reiny**, Sunday, December 5, 2010 at 8:49pmsara -- x

anne -- x+10

Julie -- 10

(x+x+10+10)/3 = 72

2x = 196

x = 98

sara -- 98

anne -- 108 ????

....

I agree with Ms. Sue, this is a flawed question.

When I was teaching, students could not get over 100.
