1.)Measurement of a television if it is approx. 18.5 inches high and just over 26 inches wide, How should the size be advertised in a store, rounding to the nearest whole number?

2.)A TV store owner wanted to make a shelf to display television sets. How long should he make the support board?
( the other measurements are 8 inches for the height and 15 inches for the sides)?

1. 19 X 27. However to avoid the exact measurements, it could be advertised as fitting in a space 29 X 27. (It's always a good idea to have some clearance.

2. The length of the board could depdn upon the weight of the televisions and t he available space.
