How do you calculate Latitude and longitude precisely?
I use a map or a database. Many people use GPS.

the position of Patras.
300'=5.6cm (the height of the square on the atlas.)
3.6cm (the distance from the bottom of the square to the city)
3.6=300 divided by 5.6 multiplied by 3.6
=3°12'= 38°12' N
