A) Label a variable and write an equation:

11(x)+6.95=50.95

x is the number of DVD's purchased.

2) Solve your equation and answer the question:

11x+6.95=50.95

subracted 6.95 from 6.95 and the 50.95

and I got 11x=44

And then divided and got 4.
