Complete the e-mail Juan sent to someone he met through a chat room for foreign students studying in the United States. Fill in each blank with the correct form of the verb that best fits the context of the e-mail.

    This exercise is NOT just picking the infinitive! The choices are in the infinitive form, but the directions clearly say "the correct form of the verb that fits the context..." Do you notice that this is begun with "Yo soy......." telling you that "yo" is telling the story.

    2. deseo (I wish to be a doctor)
    3. estudia (Andrea is the subject here)
    4. toca
    5. canta
    6. trabajamos
    7. necesitamos
    8. pagar
    9. hablamos (CON = we speak with)
    10. regresamos (that's why we go back/return home every vacation

    Aren't you lucky this wasn't a test? The only one you would have gotten is #8 because it IS the infinitive form!
