Is the 3.10 supposed to be 3 x 10, or is it just 3.10?
The beginning terms can be written
3 2^4 = 3 16
Try to do these this yourself. We will be glad to check your thinking

yes it's 3.10

math drwls, Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 6:18pm
3 2^4 + 6 8^2+3.10
= 3 16 + 6 64 + 3.10
= 13 + 9.1 64
= 13 + 54.9
Take it from there.
