  2. Ecology

After spraying crops with DDT for several years, farmers found that populations of insect pests reboundED. One reason was that insects had developed resistance to the insecticide. Suggest another reason, based on what you know about populations, pyramids,

Okay the question is: Why would there be differences in the pesticide levels found in different species? Atlantic Puffin (feeds on small fish) and its pesticide levels are lower compared to Double-crested Cormorant (fees on larger fish) and Leach's

  1. PLEASE!

It doesn't say anything. And Leach's Storm-Petrel is in the second trophic level like Atlantic Puffin, but the Leach's Storm Petrel still have a higher level of pesticide.

BUT, no bodies of water flow into the Bay of Fundy...other than the Atlantic ocean.

  3. Ecology

No, only the Atlantic Ocean does. But I was thinking since the bay of fundy is so small that it is easier for the pesticide to be passed around?
