1) A sample of gas is in a cylinder with a moveable piston. The force on the piston can be varied, altering the pressure and volume. A sample of gas is taken from an initial state to a final state following a curve on a pV diagram at right (vertical line).

2. ## physics

A container of gas with N molecules has the following state variables: P0, V0, and T0. A second container has twice the number of molecules as the first, triple the pressure and T=T0. What is the volume of the second container in terms of V0?

3. ## Physics

How would a graph of volume of a gas as a function of pressure in container look like if gas amount and temperature are held constant?
